Sound Imagination prt 1
Music come to us. We craft it and shape it. We hear it, mould it, imagine it.
We bring it to other musicians and audiences and it takes wings and changes.
I have been blessed to have a mentor named Alan Jones who once, way back, gave me the challenge to write my own music. And, so, I did! and have been ever since. Sometimes when i walk. Mostly when I walk, or bike or run. Or after a great concert playing other people's music - sometimes totally different music - then ideas, themes, directions just start to rumble and bounce or creep up.
I have also been blessed to have some STELLAR musicians to create with. Musicians, we all bring our histories, loves, abilities, things we're not good at and spirits, most importantly spirits to the table.
On this night, we got to share some of what we had been working on and what came into being on that night at that moment.
It premiers tonight!
